CALL FOR RESEARCH POSTERS
To be considered for presentation at the
2025 North Central Agricultural Education Conference
October 1 - 3, 2025 in West Lafayette, IN.

Research Posters
Research posters must report empirical work in whole or in part. The research must be completed prior to poster submission. Poster narratives should convey the potential for regional or national significance, focusing on research in teaching, communications, extension, and/or leadership.

Abstracts will be reviewed out of 100 points based on connection to the AAAE research values, building on previous work and relevant theory, appropriate methodology, well-described results connected to the methodology, clearly supported conclusions, and recommendations based on the research.

Posters will be presented at the NC-AAAE Regional Conference. Abstracts should include the following sections:
• Introduction/need for the study/relevant literature (10 points)
• Conceptual/theoretical framework (15 points)
• Methodology (15 points)
• Results/Findings/Implications (15 points)
• Conclusions (15 points)
• Implications/Recommendations/Impact (15 points)
• References (5 points)
• Clarity & Grammar (10 points)

ABSTRACT FORMAT

  • Submit files in Acrobat (PDF) format. Word files are subject to automatic rejection.
  • Abstract must be a maximum of two pages long plus up to one additional page of references.  The abstract must include the title of the poster as the first line of page 1.
  • Indicate discipline area in the top right header
    e.g., Agricultural Communications, Agricultural Leadership, Extension Education, School-Based Agricultural Education, Teacher Education, or Scholarship of Teaching and Learning/Higher Education.
  • Document must be formatted in 12-point Times New Roman font, single spaced, with 1” margins.  A word template is available on the website. SEE WEBSITE FOR FORMATTING DETAILS. (aaaeonline.org/poster)
  • To facilitate a blind review, the author’s name or other significant identifying information should not appear in the two-page abstract narrative.
  • No cover page on first submission. The author information will be entered in the submission form when uploading the narrative. (Make sure ALL authors are listed on submission form.)
  • Poster abstracts not conforming to the required submission guidelines or format may be rejected prior to the review process.

Deadline

  • Poster narrative proposals are due Friday, June 27, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. CST. Proposals must be submitted using the online form available here: https://submission.aaaeonline.org/

Post-Acceptance Poster Publication
Authors will resubmit the narrative with a cover page to include in the conference proceedings upon requests to accepted authors. Poster type should remain in the upper right-hand corner. Cover pages should include information for all authors (centered on page):
• Poster abstract title
• Author Name(s)
• Mailing address(es)
• Phone number(s)
• Email Address(es)

Submission

Submissions are completely online.  Proposals must be submitted using the online form found at https://submission.aaaeonline.org/.
