CALL FOR RESEARCH & INNOVATIVE IDEA ABSTRACTS
All submissions will be considered for oral and poster presentations. If you do not want to be considered for oral presentation, please note that in the header of the submission. All accepted oral and poster presentations will need to provide an unblinded abstract for the research proceedings. Presentations and posters will be judged, and awards will be given out through long-standing and generous sponsorship by American Technical Publications.
Submission preparation
Submissions are limited to: one page for a title page, one page of abstract, and one page for references. Submissions that do not adhere to the guidelines are subject to rejection without review.

Prepare the abstract in MS Word format.

Use Times Roman or Times New Roman 12-point font.

Set all margins at one inch.

Single-space the abstract.
Include a header indicating :

undergraduate student, graduate student, or faculty member project lead

poster presentation only or oral/poster presentation
Page one: Title page Center the title, capitalize the first letters of the words in the title, and provide authorship information below the title.
Page two: Abstract Example paragraphs/sections:
Page three: References Provide references in APA format and include DOI numbers when available.
Submission Process
Abstracts must be submitted online at http://submission.aaaeonline.org no later than 11:59
p.m. EST, September 19, 2025, to be eligible for review. All those who submit will be required to review. (All submissions and the “blind” review process will be completed electronically.)

All accepted abstracts will be compiled and published in a Refereed Proceeding on the NAMPDC website and could be posted in other open-access formats. The top-reviewed abstracts accepted for the proceedings will be eligible for consideration as an oral presentation; all other accepted abstracts will be presented as posters. Presenters will be allotted 15 minutes for their presentation and five minutes for questions. At least one author per paper MUST be present. Authors of accepted abstracts will be asked to submit a final unblinded abstract for publication. Failure to provide an unblinded copy could result in the abstract not being published in the proceedings. Decisions of the editor are final.
